Bob Dylan now has an official video for "Like A Rolling Stone," nearly 50 years after the song became his first top ten hit.
The folk-rock legend unveiled the clip on his website Tuesday. The interactive video is set up like a TV, and viewers can scroll through the channels. And on every show - whether it's a cooking program, a movie, a reality TV show, a home shopping network, or a news report - the "speaker" is singing "Like A Rolling Stone."
There are a total of 16 stops on the dial, including a "music classic" channel featuring a vintage Dylan performance of the song backed by The Band.
"Like A Rolling Stone" is from Dylan's 1965 album Highway 61 Revisited, which is considered his first "rock" album. It was his second "Billboard" charting single and served as his breakthrough, peaking at number two on the Hot 100. It was also an international hit, reaching the top ten in several other countries including the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Canada.
